Jamie’s Run for MS!

This is a special blog post because it happens to be about one of our own: our manager, Jamie.  Jamie is one of sixteen people that will be running in a marathon relay for Multiple Sclerosis (MS), a disease affecting more than 2.3 million people worldwide.  The relay, which begins in LA on Sunday, April 13th, is comprised of sixteen segments and finishes in New York City.  In Herculean fashion, Jamie will be running 156 miles in six days (averaging out to 26 miles per day!) to raise money and awareness for this debilitating disease. How Lucky We Are!

Despite not being able to claim Irish heritage, St. Patrick’s Day happens to be one of my favorite holidays.  As I recently made plans with friends to celebrate this jolliest of days, I got to thinking about why this is so.  Why do I feel so compelled to celebrate on March 17th?  And, perhaps more importantly, just what exactly am I celebrating?
