Pork Burger with Caramel Apple Aioli Sauce – Ufuoma Dafetta

Ground pork (75-25) 1lb
Granny Smith Apples 2
Sweet Onion buns
Hellmann’s mayonnaise
Spinach
Caramel sauce
Extra virgin olive oil
Lemon juice
Fresh Rosemary
Ground Sage
Garlic powder
Onion powder
Red Pepper flakes
Salt & Black Pepper

Aioli mix:
In a food processor or large bowl add in and mix 1 1/4 cup of mayonnaise, 1 Granny Smith apple (peeled, cored & fine grated), 1 1/4Tbsp caramel sauce, 1/2tsp garlic powder, 1/2tsp onion powder, salt & red pepper flakes TT (to taste), 1tsp lemon juice, then slowly add in 1/2Tbsp extra virgin olive oil. And then refrigerate for 30mins.

Ground pork mix:
Add 1/2Tbsp finely chopped fresh Rosemary, 1/2tsp ground sage, salt & black pepper TT and mix together until well incorporated. Grill 4 to 5 mins on each side or until meat reaches 160°F, set aside to let meat rest.

Toast sweet onion bread on grill top with spinach green apple and aioli sauce.
